Dr. Danielle Bartholomew
Dr. Danielle Bartholomew grew up here locally in the Columbus area and attended Bishop Hartley High School. In 2006, she completed her undergraduate studies at Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She went on to receive her Doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2011. Dr. Bartholomew is the recipient of The Ohio State University Patient Care Excellence Award and the Rooney Optical Nexus Award. Currently, she is a clinical attending for OSU and oversees fourth-year optometry students in our clinic.
Dr. Bartholomew’s Affiliations
Optometry became her passion when she worked as a technician at a private practice throughout her collegiate studies. She is proud to have served the Columbus area with her expertise in post-operative care and dry eye disease management. In 2016, she attended the Dry Eye University in Jacksonville, Fla., and she is excited to be able to provide you with some of the latest dry eye treatments, including Lipiflow ®.
Dr. Bartholomew currently resides in Gahanna with her husband, daughter Quinn, and dog Piper. In her spare time, she enjoys working on home renovation projects, attending concerts, and is an avid reader. Dr. Bartholomew is also passionate about animal rescue and enjoys fostering dogs. She is an active member of the Ohio Optometric Association, Central Ohio Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association.
