Dr. Rachel Mancini
Rachel Mancini completed her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Grove City College in Pennsylvania. She then gained early acceptance into The Ohio State University College of Optometry and graduated with honors earning a Doctorate of Optometry in 2000. As part of her training, she completed an externship in ocular disease at the Canton Veterans Administration Medical Clinic. While a student she was a four-year member of the American Optometric Student Association and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She was awarded The Ohio State University College of Optometry four-year scholarship for excellence in academics.
Dr. Mancini’s Affiliations
Dr. Mancini joined Columbus Laser & Cataract in 2019 and has a special focus in the medical treatment of allergies, dry eye, and postoperative cataract and refractive care. She has been active in the “Realeyes” classroom program, American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, Central Ohio Optometric Association, New Albany Women’s Network, and New Albany Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Mancini is certified with therapeutics by The Ohio State Board of Optometry and National Board of Examiners in Optometry. In her time away from the office she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, biking, and activities with her church.
